Social Justice

Our practices for advancing social justice are based on the belief that each of us has an individual and communal responsibility to each other. Every person should be empowered to live with dignity. Our tools are logic, education, history, outreach, collaboration, compassion and truth.

We offer several different types of programming, both direct and in collaboration with others, developed to meet the needs of our people and fellow social justice advocates and strengthen our collective effectiveness and impact. We are committed to supporting and empowering individuals and communities in their work in advancing social and environmental justice. We are committed to protecting the health and improving the wellbeing of all women and girls. We work for the protection of human and civil rights, the pursuit of racial and gender justice, the advancement of economic equality, equity in educational opportunity and community organizing to advocate for these ideals.

Our Programs

We co-produce and co-host The Women’s Mosaic, a public radio show inspired by and for women and girls. The show broadcasts on KXRW.fm (99.9) Vancouver, Washington, and XRAY.fm Portland and Nehalem, Oregon(107.1, 91.1, 91.7). Post broadcast all shows are streamable. Community Unity, a community building mission to foster compassion and understanding among all peoples.
